Pee Wee Broncos Win PA Tournament
The SWT Pee Wee Broncos defeated Prince Albert 3-2 in the tournament final

The SWT Pee Wee Broncos travelled to Prince Albert over the weekend to compete in tournament play and brought home gold.

The Broncos had a very strong showing at the tournament, going undefeated en route to the championship.

Swift Current began the tournament with a perfect record in round robin.

They then went on to beat the Tisdale in the semi-finals, setting up a date with the hometown Raiders in the tournament final.

In the final, the Broncos got on the board first early in the second period as Rhys O'Neill found the back of the net.

Then early in the third, Swift Current extended their lead to 2-0 when Joe Arntsen scored just seventeen seconds into the final frame.

Prince Albert would come storming back though, scoring back-to-back goals midway through the third to tie the game.

As time continued to wind down it appeared the final was heading for overtime, but then with just thirty-nine seconds remaining on the clock Ryan McCleary clinched the tournament crown for Swift Current scoring the game winning goal.

Chase Coward got the win in goal for Swift Current.

The SWT Pee Wee Broncos will return to league action on December 3, when they travel to Moose Jaw.
