The Saskatchewan U-17 hockey team will not be bringing a medal home from the Canada Winter Games.

Team B.C. ended Saskatchewan's hopes for a hockey medal after a 5-4 overtime win.  Broncos forward, Geordie Wudrick, scored in the 2nd period to help B.C. pick up the win.

Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario all advanced to the final four.

Saskatchewan will get another chance for a hockey medal when the u-17 womens team takes to the ice next week.
