It was a two-loss second day of action for Team Sask at the 17U Baseball Canada Cup yesterday in Regina.

Wymark's Jackson Fraser got the start in the first game of the day. He tossed six innings of three-run ball, allowing eight hits, while striking out six batters.

However, Team Sask lost 3-0 to Team Ontario.

Then, yet another shutout was handed to Team Sask in Game 2 yesterday.

In the second meeting of the tournament against Quebec, Saskatchewan suffered a 15-0 loss.

Swift Current's Brody Alexandre was in the lineup for both games, going a combined 0-for-4 with a walk and three strikeouts.

Team Sask is now 1-3 at the Canada Cup, and looks to get back in the win column with an 11 a.m. game against BC today.
