Swift Current's Chris Haichert, along with Team Saskatchewan will be back on the ice later this morning in Truro, Nova Scotia, competing in the 1-2 page playoff game at the 2016 Canadian Firefighters Curling Championship.

Hiachert plays third for the provincial team, which also features lead Tyler Harrison, second Carman Koch and Skip Gregg Tarasoff.

Team Saskatchewan finished round robin play yesterday with a record of 9-1, good enough for top spot in the standings.

In their 1-2 match-up, they will battle Team Alberta, who they defeated 5-2 on Tuesday in round robin play.

With a win, Saskatchewan would go straight through to tomorrow's final, while a loss would put them in the semi's.

In the 3-4 playoff game, Nova Scotia will take on British Columbia.
