NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs

The New Jersey Devils are sending the NHL's Eastern Conference final back to New York knotted at 2-2. 

Bryce Salvador and Travis Zajac scored under four minutes apart in the first period to put the Devils ahead 2-0, and Zach Parise scored twice in the third, as the Devils downed the Rangers 4-1.

The game had some fireworks as Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur was punched by Ranger forward Mike Rupp in the third period which spurred a yelling match between New Jersey Coach Peter DeBoer and New York Coach John Tortorella.



The Western Conference final resumes tonight with former Bronco Michal Rozsival and the Phoenix Coyotes trying to avoid elimintation veresus the L.A. Kings.
