Hurricanes VS Rangers
The Hurricanes will return to the Fairview Arenas tomorrow night to host the Lumsden/Bethune Lions

The K-Motel Midget 'AA' Hurricanes managed to pick up a point last night in Regina, when they battled the Capitals.

The two teams played to a 1-1 draw, which was Swift Current's first tie of the season.

After a scoreless first period, the Capitals got on the board in the second to take a 1-0 lead into the final frame.

With 9:50 remaining in the third and on the powerplay, Jonas Sadden scored his seventh goal of the season to knot the game up 1-1.

Josh Nimegeers registered the assist on Sadden's goal.

Neither team would be able to find the back of the net the rest of the way as the game finished in a 1-1 tie.

The single point now gives the Hurricanes 13 on the season.

They currently sit seven points out of the eighth and final playoff spot.

The Hurricanes will look to continue their push towards a playoff spot tomorrow night when they host the winless Lumsden/Bethune Lions.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:15 from the Fairview Arenas.
