The first round of the NHL playoffs will wrap up tonight with three deciding game sevens.

Wayne Simmonds scored three goals and Claude Giroux had a goal and two assists as Philadelphia toppled the Rangers 5-2 on Tuesday to live another day. Shaunavon's Braydon Coburn also had a helper for his second point of the NHL playoffs, and Steve Mason made 34 saves for the Flyers.

Game 7 will go at Madison Square Garden tonight (5:00pm, TSN2) with the winner facing Pittsburgh in the next round.

Aneroid's Patrick Marleau and the San Jose Sharks will host the LA Kings in the decisive game of that series tonight (8:00pm, CBC). The Kings are looking to complete a rally from three games down to knock off the Sharks. The series winner will face the Anaheim Ducks in round two.

Also, Minnesota visits Colorado for game seven of a series where the home team has won every game (7:30pm, TSN2). The winner will face the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks next.

The second round starts Thursday night with the Montreal Canadiens heading to Boston.
