Former Bronco Dave "Tiger" Williams could be making his return to competitive hockey.

The 56-year-old may sign with the Herbert Hawks of the Notekeu Hockey League.

Hawks manager Cory Penner says Williams practiced with them last night and was hoping to play on Friday night.

He added that Williams plans to play enough games with the Hawks so that he qualifies for playoff action.

Williams scored 513 points in 962 NHL games.

He also holds the NHL record for most career penalty minutes with 3966.

Herbert hosts Mossbank tomorrow night at 8:30.
