The Swift Current Indians recovered from a heartbreaking loss on Friday with a 5-0 shutout against Moose Jaw last night.

Third baseman Brian Straun had a strong night, getting two hits and an earned run. He says he has a relaxed offensive style getting his load and stride done earlier so he could see the pitch longer.

Straun says the team has big hitters but is also adept defensively, mentioning coach Joe Carnahan has done a great job bringing in players who have a strong defensive skill and can hit the ball.

The Tribe head to Regina to play the Red Sox tomorrow. In other games yesterday, Regina beat Yorkton 9-7, Medicine Hat hammered Lethbridge 15-0, Okotoks beat Saskatoon 9-4, and Melville edged Sherwood Park 8-7.
