With only four nights to go until playoffs, the Swift Current Indians lost by their biggest margin of the season last night at Mitchell Field.

The Sherwood Park Dukes coasted to a 9-1 win over the Indians thanks in large part to a five-run 4th inning.  The Indians had only four base hits and committed three errors in the loss.

Coach Joe Carnahan says they were bound to have a game like that at some point in the season.  "We're still alright; we've played 35 games this season and this is the first time we've really gotten beaten up.  We're not really hanging our heads; the good thing is all we have to do is go to Weyburn and win that game and we still capture the regular season championship.  Guys are still positive and we're looking forward to tomorrow (Tuesday) night."

The loss pushed the Indians' record to 25-10 on the season.  They will open up playoffs at home Friday night, most likely against Yorkton.
