The Pee Wee 'AA' Indians are 1-1 after day 1 in St. Albert

The Swift Current Pee Wee 'AA' Indians came up just short in their attempt at a perfect 2-0 opening day in St. Albert, Albert at the 2015 Western Canada Baseball Championship.

The Indians started their tournament off with a 9-8 walk-off win over Manitoba's representative, the Stonewall Blue Jays, but Swift Current was unable to make it 2 wins in a row yesterday afternoon, falling 13-12 to the BC champions, the Coquitlam Moody Reds.

The Tribe will look to bounce back into the win column today at 1:00pm, when they battle the champions from Alberta, the Okotoks Outlaws.

Following their game against Okotoks, Swift Current will wrap up round robin play, with a game against the hosts, the St. Albert Cardinals tonight at 6pm.
