The Swift Current Indians are waking up today in top spot in the overall WMBL standings after rallying for a 10-4 win over Yorkton at Mitchell Field.

Despite surrendering four runs in the first inning, the Indians had plenty of time to come back in the game.  Reliever Cody Hovdestead pitched five scoreless innings to help his team when they were down.  

Shane Baum hit a pinch hit home run in the 9th inning - his first ever in the WMBL.

The win moves the Tribe to 22-7 on the season which is now the best overall record in the league.  They continue to lead Saskatoon by 7 games a top the Central division standings.

The Indians are in Moose Jaw tomorrow night.
