Two more Swift Current athletes have found their way onto the podium at the Saskatchewan Summer Games in Estevan.

Both Aleah Nickel and Kalea Sauder will be bringing home silver medals from the event.

Nickel picked up her silver medal in the Female 300m Hurdles, while Sauder finished second in the Female Pentathlon.

The two medals were a part of the five that Team South West picked up in Tuesday's action.

In team competition, the South West baseball team fell 13-2 to Parkland Valley.

The South West Female Basketball team will be competing for bronze after defeating Team South East 51-35 in the quarter-final, but later falling 75-24 to Team Saskatoon in the semi's.

The Men's Basketball team, meanwhile will be playing for gold after a 52-44 quarter-finals win over Rivers West and a 56-50 semi-final victory over Parkland Valley.

Finally, the Female Soccer team fell 4-0 to Saskatoon in the semi's, meaning Team South West will now play for bronze.

After two days of competition, Team South West currently has 11 medals, 4 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze, which has them tied for 5th place in the overall standings.
