Last year Jordan Papirny was a huge reason Swift Current made it to Game 7 of the second round against the Regina Pats, and this year he's carried that stellar play into the crease for the University of Calgary Dinos in men's hockey for USports.

Papirny has been named to the USports all-rookie team at the USports All-Canadian Awards.

The Dinos (who also featured former-Bronco Ryan Graham), fell in the Conference West semifinals to the University of Saskatchewan Huskies in February. Papirny was solid in the playoffs, after carrying a fair bit of the load during the regular season (playing in 15 of 28 games).

Papirny had a .925 save percentage and a 2.11 goals-against average to go along with a 7-5-0 record in the regular season. His goals-against average was second best in the country, and his save percentage was seventh highest.
