Taylor Vause
Broncos forward Taylor Vause is planning to become more of a leader on and off the ice this season.
Vause says he remembers being a rookie and wants to help some of their young players go through that experience.
The Calgary native led the team in pre-season scoring with 8 points in 3 games.
He wants to take his offence to another level this season.
Vause is one of four overage players still on the Broncos roster. They have to be down to three by mid-October.
Swift Current opens the WHL regular season with a home and home against Regina on Friday and Saturday.
