Wymark's Bradi Wall and Team Canada are getting ready for the women's baseball world cup coming up in Edmonton August 10-19th, after wrapping up a six game set abroad.

"I've played for team Canada women's baseball for three years, and this year we just went out to Cuba for a friendly tournament against Team Cuba and Team Venezuela, just to get the team out again one more time," Wall said.

They played four games against Cuba and two more against Venezuela, and went 5-and-1 in the tournament.

"I've never been to Cuba before, it was the first time going there, it was an amazing experience," Wall added. "It was great to be out there, great to be with my teammates again, and just to play baseball down there is a lot of fun."

Wall just finished playing her first season of NCAA softball for the Unviersity of Iowa and is back now playing with the Midget AA Indians Boys team for the summer.

They host the Saskatoon Cubs tomorrow at 1:00pm.
