The Pee Wee AA Indians were not only Swift Current baseball talent claiming a Silver medal yesterday.

Logan Fritzke and the rest of Team Saskatchewan picked up a silver medal at the 2015 Western Canada Summer Games in Wood Buffalo.

Team Saskatchewan, like the Indians, fell to Team BC in the gold medal game, as BC downed the Team Sask. by a final score of 7-3.

Also competing at the games over the weekend was Swift Current's Tobi Ojo.

Ojo, and his Saskatchewan soccer teammates came up just short of the podium, falling 5-1 to Manitoba in the bronze medal game.

Shaunavon's Hannah MacNeil was competing at the games as well. MacNeil placed 15th in women's individual golf.

With the games wrapping up yesterday, Swift Current Mayor Jerrod Schafer was in attendance at the closing ceremonies to receive the torch, as the games will make their way to Swift Current in 2019.
