The Western Canada Baseball Championships continue Saturday in Swift Current after opening with a full day of action on Friday.

The Swift Current Midget Indians dropped a 2-1 decision to Manitoba (Rock Lake Regals) and then lost 3-1 to BC (Ladner Red Sox) in their games on day one. They'll play Saskatchewan (North East Red Sox) at 12:00 noon and Alberta (Clive Coyotes) at 8:30pm on Saturday.

The Bantam Indians lost to Saskatchewan (Weyburn Beavers) 10-2 and to Manitoba (Winkler) 11-7 in their games, and will face Alberta (North Peace Hurricanes) in their only game Saturday at noon.

The Pee Wee Indians won their only game of the first day 15-4 over Alberta (Grande Prairie Reds), and will take on BC (Duncan RiverCats) Saturday morning at 9:00am and Saskatchewan (Unity Cardinals) at 6:00pm.
