The Western Hockey League championship series will feature the Calgary Hitmen against the Tri-City Americans.

 

The Americans defeated Vancouver 5-2 on Sunday night in Vancouver to take the Western Conference final in six games.  Calgary disposed of Brandon in five games just a few days ago.

 

The WHL championship series will open in Calgary this weekend.
