The Western Hockey League's Conference Finals have opened up with a weekend split in both the East and the West divisions.

In Calgary, the Hitmen won Game 2 in overtime on a 5-on-3 powerplay goal.  The goal gave them the win and evened the series at one as they shift to Brandon for Games 3 and 4.

Out west, Tri-City defeated Vancouver 4-0 Saturday night to even the Western Conference Final at a game apiece.  The series now moves to Vancouver for Games 3 and 4.
