In the WHL playoffs last night.
The Portland Winterhawks took control and beat Shaunavon's Kale Kessy and the Kamloops Blazers 3-0 and now hold a three games to one series lead. The two teams are off tonight as they travel back to Portland and meet up Saturday night in a must win game five for Kamloops.
In the East the Edmonton Oil Kings managed to tie their series with the Calgary Hitmen back up at two games a piece with a big 7-3 blowout win. That series will also have the night off as they will be heading back to Calgary for game five Saturday night.
