The Swift Current Broncos have seen some familiar faces return ahead of main camp, one being 20 year-old veteran Dale Wiese.

After being drafted by the New York Rangers in the 4th round this summer, the future for Broncos forward Dale Wiese is up in the air for the time being.

Wiese may or may not be back with the Broncos depending on how his Rangers training camp goes in a couple weeks.

If Wiese returns to junior hockey for his final season, he would be more than happy to fill the leadership role as the potential captain.

"If I came back I wouldn't put anything less on me.  I think I'm ready to take over the Zack Smith. I've learned a lot from past captains like Luke Hunter and Myles Rumsey.  If I had to come back and play here I wouldn't be upset at all. I'm excited to be here, I love the team, I love the coaching staff, the city. I'd be real excited if I came back and got that opportunity."

Main camp opens today with scrimmages beginning tomorrow at the Credit Union I-plex.
