Wildcats forward, Jill Kennedy
She scored five points over six games this month. That improved her point total to 12 over 19 games.
"I recently broke my lucky stick and I got a new one," Kennedy said. "The weekend in PA I was lighting it up pretty good I'd say compared to how my past games had been going.
The struggling Wildcats put together a 3-3 month in December after winning only once in the previous two months. Kennedy knows their biggest weakness is offensive production.
"Our fowards need to take the puck to the net hard," Kennedy said. "Our defence from the point need to get pucks through. We basically just have to take shots."
The Wildcats come back from holiday break with games in Saskatoon on the 7th and 8th of January.
