Despite winning their final game at the Mac's Midget Tournament in Calgary, the Swift Current Diamond Energy Wildcats headed home.

 

   The "AAA" female midget team defeated Melville 5-3 to finish the round robin with two wins, a loss and a tie.  Their record was just shy of making the playoff round.

  The Wildcats were the two-time defending tournament champions.
