A step in the right direction.
That's how Female Midget AAA Wildcats Coach Terry Pavely described their 5-4 loss to first place Weyburn on Sunday.
After only scoring once in a loss on Saturday, Pavely says his group started to get the message about how they needed to score goals.
The Wildcats have only won once in regular season play so far this season, but have played 8 of their 10 games against the top four teams in the league.
They host Regina on Saturday and Sunday.
