The female midget AAA Diamond Energy Wildcats have two weeks off after 4-0 and 1-0 losses to a tough Saskatoon team on the weekend.

Full Interview with Terry Pavely"We showed we can play with the better teams in the league," said Wildcats Coach Terry Pavely. "The bottom line is though you can play two games but if you don't score a goal you don't give yourself a chance to win."

Pavely adds they'll use the time off to work on what has been a struggling power play.

"If you never score it's just really throwing away opportunities and then teams don't worry about taking penalties, because if they know you can't score they are going to play more aggressively."

Pavely loved their compete on the second game.

"We play that tough for sixty full minutes against a good team and you lose 1-0 and it really hurt a little bit. I think that's where we want to get our team is when you compete really hard and you lose, it stings."

The Wildcats don't have any league games again until November 14th.
