The Diamond Energy Wildcats will wear special pink jerseys tonight in an exhibition game with the Yellowhead Chiefs

 

There will be a lot of pink in the rink tonight, as the Diamond Energy Female Midget Wildcats play in an exhibition game for breast cancer research.

 

The Wildcats will take on the Yellowhead Chiefs wearing special pink jerseys, and will take donations from fans and allocate half of the 50-50 proceeds to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

 

Face-off is at 7:45pm tonight from the Fairview Arenas.

 

The Junior B Cypress Cyclones are also holding a breast cancer fundraiser tonight as they host the Saskatoon Quakers at 7:30 in Maple Creek.

 

In other minor hockey action... The K-Motel Midget Hurricanes picked up a big home win yesterday, knocking off the Regina Wild 5-3. Brandon Gauthier and Dalton Menke both had a pair of goals for the Hurricanes, and goalie Logan Tisdale made 34 saves. The Hurricanes host Weyburn in their next action on Friday.

 

The Home Hardware Legionnaires look to build on their hot 6-game winning streak when they host Beardy's for a pair of games. The first is tonight at 8:00pm from the Credit Union iplex. 

 

The Kabos Bantam Raiders are on the road today to take on the West Central Wheat Kings.
