Diamond Energy Female Midget AAA Wildcats forward Sara Kendall will be continuing her career at the post-secondary level in her home province.

Kendall, who's going into her senior season in the Sask Female Midget AAA Hockey League, has signed on with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies.

The Ponteix product has play two full seasons with the Wildcats, and took a large leap from the first year to the most recent campaign.

Kendall posted ten goals and 19 points over 30 total games in her rookie season in 2017-18.

Last year, Kendall was picking apart goalies routinely. Again combining the regular season and playoffs, the alternate captain scored 24 goals and had 38 points in 33 games.

Kendall will join the Huskies for the 2020-21 season.

We'll have comments from the newest Huskies commit next week when she's back from the Bridge City.

Kendall is currently one of four Wildcats up at Merlis Belsher Place in Saskatoon at U18 Female Team Sask's Fall Camp, looking to make the final cuts and represent her province at the 2019 Canadian Women's Under-18 Championship. That tournament is held November 5-9 in Morden and Winkler, MB.
