Wildcats Searching for More Scoring During Break

All the Diamond Energy Wildcats want for Christmas is more pucks in the net.

The female midget team has struggled to score goals so far this season, and were outscored 9-0 in two games against Saskatoon this past weekend.

They want to find a way to generate more offense, and the best way to do that is to get to the net.

Full Interview with Terry Pavely"We got to drive hard to the net, we got to hang around the blue paint and when your there, your there for a reason," said Head Coach Terry Pavely. "You have to be ready for the puck, you have to be strong on your skates and we got to score some ugly goals. We got to make it tough on goalies, we got to screen, we got to get rebounds you got to out will teams in that blue area."

Pavely added they have to get more shots on goals and not be content with just playing the pucks in the corner.

The Wildcats are 5-12 heading into the break.
