The Diamond Energy Female Midget Wildcats tied the St. Albert Slash 1-1 in round-robin play Monday at the Mac's Midget Tournament in Calgary.
Jessica Pele had the lone goal for Swift Current and Jasey Book made 10 saves in the Wildcats' second tie of the tournament, which moved them to a 1-0-2 record and a tie for second place in their pool, with the top team moving on to the semi-finals. The Wildcats wrap up the round-robin against the Northern Cougars this afternoon needing to win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The semi-finals go on Wednesday and the finals are set for New Year's Day.
