The Diamond Energy Female Midget Wildcats are unbeaten after two games at the Mac's Midget Tournament in Calgary.
They opened with a 2-2 tie against the Westman Wildcats on Friday, and then beat the Peace Country Storm 2-1 in action on Saturday. Taylor Kirwan and Tori Kendall scored for Swift Current, and goalie Loghan Hennes made six saves as the Wildcats outshot the Storm 27-7.
The Wildcats had Sunday off, and will face the St. Albert Slash this morning, and then wrap up round-robin on Tuesday against the Northern Cougars. The semi-finals go on New Year's Eve, and the final is set for New Year's Day at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
