Darian Durant

The Saskatchewan Roughriders won't return to the practice field until Thursday morning as they look for answers following their second straight blow out loss in Calgary over the weekend.

When the Roughriders do return to the field at Mosaic Stadium to start getting ready for a Thanksgiving Monday showdown with the Eskimos in Edmonton, they may be without star quarterback Darian Durant.

The Regina Leader-Post is reporting that the pivots status is up in the air for Monday's game with a foot injury suffered in the 40-3 loss at McMahon Stadium.

Durant has had X-Rays on the sprained left foot on Monday and is supposedly wearing a walking boot.

If Durant can't go, backup Ryan Dinwiddie would get the call.

Dinwiddie came in during the blow out loss to Calgary and threw 32 yards on 6-of-8 passing. He's appeared in only four games so far this season with one touchdown pass.

We can expect to find out more when the Riders head back out on to the field Thursday.
