A pair of winless Western Hockey League teams will take to the ice tonight at the Innovation Credit Union iPlex in Swift Current.

The 0-4 Swift Current Broncos will welcome the 0-4 Regina Pats to town.

Recently re-acquired Broncos forward Owen Blocker believes the team's offence will come from working hard in their own zone.

"This year it's going to be a low-scoring year because we don't necessarily have any Heponiemi, Gawdin, or Steenbergen on this team this year," he said. "We're definitely going to need to focus on our defence and then all of our offence this year is going to have to come from our tight defence."

The Broncos have scored a total of three goals through four games so far this season with two of them coming in their most recent loss to Red Deer last Saturday.

Another new face on the Broncos this year is 16-year-old Billy Sowa - whos said it's a big transition from midget 'AAA' to the WHL level.

"I just gotta play smarter, definitely have a better stick, and obviously make super quick plays," he said. "I'm a smaller guy so just using my speed and smarts to my ability and that will help me out."
