As Swift Current Broncos rookie camp takes to the ice, top prospect Geordie Wudrick is ready.

The 16 year-old Abbotsford, B.C. native played in 18 games as a Bronco last season - the majority of them coming at the end of the year.

Wudrick says he wants to lead the way at rookie camp over the next couple days to jumpstart him into main camp.

Wudrick was the Broncos 1st round draft pick in the 2005 WHL bantam draft.  He was taken 2nd overall, the Broncos highest selectoin ever in their history.

Bronco rookies are on the ice all day and into the evening.  Main camp opens Saturday.
