The Swift Current Yard Goats are 2016 Sask-Alta League champions.

The Yard Goats capped their inaugural season in winning fashion, defeating the defending champion Richmound Rockets 9-6 in the final.

Swift Current advanced to the championship game with a 5-3 win over the Burstall Braves, while Richmound defeated the Cabri River Rats 2-1.
