You can walk, run, ride your bike, or skateboard to help find a cure for Cancer during the Terry Fox Run today.

It was just over 31 years ago that Terry started his Marathon of Hope across Canada to help raise money for Cancer research, but was forced to stop midway through when the cancer returned to his lungs.

Since then, millions of Canadians have carried on his legacy taking part in Terry Fox Runs every year.

The Swift Current event is split into two with a 10km run at 9:00am this morning and a 5km walk, stroll or bike at 2:00pm this afternoon, both starting from Riverside Park. No pledges are required to take part, but donations are welcome onsite.

The Shaunavon Terry Fox Run will begin and finish at the Crescent Point Wickenheiser Centre this afternoon from 1-4pm.
