The Leader and District Healthcare Facility remains closed until further.

There was a break Thursday which led to heat and power being out for the facility - some patients' families brought them home, while others were transferred to Swift Current.

The temporary disruption of service has been in effect since 5 p.m. Thursday, meaning all services are unavailable for the time being.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority said 25 residents were moved safely to Swift Current that night - four went to The Meadows, while the rest went to Cypress Regional Hospital.

Another update by the SHA is expected tomorrow.

And a second water line break occurred yesterday in the town on the 200 block of 2nd Street West, according to the Town's Facebook page.

According to the Town, that break was expected to be fixed as of yesterday afternoon or evening, followed by a subsequent boil-water advisory. There's been no update.
