AMBER Alert Cancelled

Police were looking for Anthony Slippery as part of an Amber Alert.
 
The Regina Police Service has now cancelled the Amber Alert they issued this afternoon. They successfully located missing four year-old Storm Slippery.

They posted the following on their Facebook page: "Confirmed! We have Storm! Thank you all so much for your help in sharing these photos and our message! Hug your families and have a great evening everyone!"

They then released the following statement:
 
"The Regina Police Service is confirming that Storm has been found, unharmed.   At approximately 4:40 p.m., police were contacted with information that the child had been left with a family member.  Officers then had to confirm that this was, indeed, Storm SLIPPERY.  That confirmation was received at 5:00 p.m. today, April 26, 2012.

The Regina Police Service wishes to thank all partners agencies (police and business), media, our social media community and the public for their concern and immediate willingness to help."
