Crews have completed work on installing irrigation at Memorial Park in Shaunavon.

Work was completed last week on the north end of the park, which was the only area of the Park not irrigated.

Ron Phillips is the Director of Operations for the Town of Shaunavon. He says, "The Wellness and Leisure Committee decided that they wanted to put some money towards making it less of a hassle to water and to keep it nice and green automatically. So they put the money towards putting sprinklers in the north end (of the Park)"

The cost of the project was just over $12,000 and included the new controller, running the lines and all the heads.
