Back to classes for students at SIAST's campuses across the province.

Students will finally get to start their school year at SIAST today after the Saskatchewan Government and General Employees' Union signed a mediation agreement over the weekend.

The Professional Services and Academic bargaining units have been on strike since Tuesday, but the agreement includes a clause stating that both sides must suspend any job action.

The mediation agreements are in effect until September 16th.

Classes are expected to return to normal at the SIAST's four campuses this morning.
