Some of the evidence in the nearly $18 million drug bust
A busy day in Swift Current Provincial Court, with a bail hearing for one of the accused facing cocaine charges.
After hearing arguments from the defense and Crown, Troy Swanson will have to wait to hear a decision on his bail hearing.
Swanson is among three men who appeared in court this morning, currently facing charges after a major drug bust through a joint partnership between RCMP and U.S. Homeland Security.
Judge Matsalla stated he would like to take time to review the information presented to him, which is subjected to a publication ban, and would hold off on his decision until Friday.
Brock Palfrey and William Larson also made brief appearances by video conference. They will make another appearance on November 9th to determine a show cause hearing.
