The Entertainment Stage on Saturday is always a popular place during Boomtown Days.

 

Boomtown Days in Shaunavon on Saturday July 22nd will have plenty of fun and activities for everyone.

Following the Boomtown Days Parade stop by the Grand Coteau Heritage and Cultural Center for lunch sponsored by the Southwest Chronic Disease Support Group.

Gail Wallis from their Board of Directors says, "The lunch runs from eleven to two at the Grand Coteau Center and we're serving pulled pork with salads, pickles, and cupcakes and ice cream for dessert."

Wallis adds that there will also be hotdogs available. The cost is by donation with all funds raised going to the Southwest Chronic Disease Support Group. They will also have information available on their group and memberships will also be available.

Also on Saturday following the Parade until three p.m. check out the stage entertainment in front of the Museum featuring Conrad Sandberg and his Prairie Pals. Make sure you bring a lawn chair.

The Museum will have all kinds of activities including a Bouncy Castle, games and crafts.

And be sure to check out the Flea Market Saturday from nine a.m. until two p.m. on 4th Avenue East next to CIBC.

The fireworks scheduled for Saturday night have been cancelled due to the dry conditions.
