The Shaunavon RCMP are reporting a number of incidents from March 8 and they are asking for the public's assistance.

At around 2 a.m. police were called to a break and enter in progress alarm at Overtime Restaurant and Sports Lounge on 3 Avenue West in Shaunavon.

Footage from the business revealed that a single adult male entered the building wearing a distinctive two-tone coloured windbreaker style jacket with the words "Stompdown" on the back.

Police also discovered a 2000 Volvo station wagon car with Alberta plates which was later reported stolen from Gull Lake.

Later that same night it is believed that the same male subject scaled the fence and took a 2006 Pontiac G5 car from the towing compound at A & B Auto Centre on Highway 37 in Shaunavon. The fence at the compound was also damaged.

That vehicle was later recovered in Rocky Mountain House, Alta.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact the Shaunavon RCMP directly or call Crime Stoppers.
