34 year old Jason Joseph Tomaro has been sentenced to 12 months in prison after pleading guilty to two break and enters in Swift Current
Tomaro was accused of breaking into Anna's Treasure Hut on October 11th and the Big Rig car wash on November 29th.
He will serve sentences of 12 and 9 months concurrently for taking gold and jewellry from Anna's. A $2,000 float and cash register from Big Rig was also taken. None of the items stolen were recovered.
Tomaro was also sentenced to 47 days time served for a seperate assault charge.
Another woman facing charges in connection with the break in at Anna's Treasure Hut will be making an appearance in Provincial Court on January 30.
