Swift Current RCMP are patrolling the streets of Swift Current searching for a suspect in a robbery that occured earlier today.  

Sgt. Kelly Guider says there was a theft of an undisclosed amount of cash from a business on Central Ave North. 

The suspect is described as a caucasian male with a shaved head, between 5'8 and 5'10, late 20's with a medium build. He adds that the suspect has a neck tattoo on the right side of his neck. 

"The suspect was wearing black-style track pants with white lettering or writing on them. He also had a zip-up top similar to a windbreaker that was black in colour," Sgt. Guider said.  "He was last seen on foot near Central Ave. North and Cheadle Street. He may have also been over in the area of the city's bus depot." 

Anyone seeing a male of his description is asked to contact the RCMP's City Detachment immediately, or call 911 as police are actively searching for the suspect.
