Saskatchewan had a 19.8% increase to $14 billion in public and private investments from 2007 to 2008, according to Stats Canada.

     Since 2004, capital investment has almost doubled in the province, growing from $7.5 billion in 2004 to $14 billion in 2008.

     The $14.2 billion that is expected for this year is a record, and marks the second time Saskatchewan has exceeded $14 billion in investments.

     For this year, Saskatchewan is expected to have a 1% increase, while every other province is expected to see a decline in investment.
