Swift Current Care Centre

 Friday the 13th wasn't that unlucky of a day for one group of workers in Swift Current.

A group of 34 care workers from the Swift Current Care Centre won a large share of this past week's Lotto Max after matching 6 of the 7 numbers plus the bonus number, taking in nearly $400,000. They could each take home over $11,500.

Bonnie Major was among the winners.

"There was a lot of hooping and hollering," Major said. "It was hard to finish the day."

Now the local care workers decide how to spend their winnings.

"We're building a cabin at the lake," Major said. "I'm not sure what we're going to do with (the winnings) yet."

The Care Centre workers had a lottery pool in place for approximately 9 years.
