The annual Caring Sharing Remembering Service was held in Shaunavon last night.

The service has been going on for over 25 years and is hosted by the Rolling Hills Ministerial Association and Binkley's Funeral Home.

The service allows people to come together and remember loved ones that have passed away and reflect on what is causing them stress.

Whether it's the loss of a family member, loss of a job, or a divorce, anything that is causing stress and the service will try to get them to relieve some of the stress before the holidays begin.

Rick Schneider from Binkley's Funeral Home said they want to host it because he noticed people were having a bit of a struggle at Christmas

"We felt that if we got together early in December and gave people an opportunity to reflect and slow down a bit and give some thought to those that they've lost, and just try and help people through some stressful times," he said. "It can be painful or difficult times; we just felt that people needed that opportunity to have a quiet time and reflect for a little bit."

There were two other services - one in Eastend on Monday, and the services wrap up tonight in Climax.
