The Central School Choir is joined by Telemiracle cast member Victoria Banks Thursday morning at the School's Auditorium.

Saskatchewan is getting ready for Telemiracle 36, and so is Swift Current's Central School Choir, who will be performing at the telethon for the second time in three years.

Students at the school were treated to a performance by the choir of the song they will sing at Telemiracle, and another performance from Telemiracle cast member and country music artist Victoria Banks on Thursday.

Music Teacher Celia Hammerton says the kids are very excited to be a part of Telemiracle, saying only a few that performed at Telemiracle 34 in 2010 are returning: "It's a very young choir this year, we have lots of new members, but they are all very, very excited about it. It's special to me and it's special to the kids," she added. "I just think it's such a great way for the kids to learn about giving and helping others."

Central School also raised money for Telemiracle through a talent show on Thursday night and a bake sale on February 17th at Innovation Credit Union in Swift Current, and will be presenting that money to Telemiracle as the choir gets set to perform at about 11:30am on Sunday.
