Some businesses in the province forced to shut down when the Government of Saskatchewan issued a shut down order, are now back in business.

The first phase of the Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan has launched, and physiotherapists, optometrists, chiropractors, and dentists are all among businesses that were cleared to re-open this week.

The Shaunavon Dental Office re-opened on Tuesday and Doctor Andrew Stoll says they have implemented many new procedures. "Most people when they book an appointment will go through a questionnaire and answer a lot of questions about whether you have risk factors or not. And we have a lot of infection control, probably more than just about anywhere other than a surgical suite in a hospital. And little things like trying to keep the waiting room area as empty as possible too, so we're doing that differently..just booking different."

Doctor Stoll adds that patient's temperatures will be taken as they enter the office, and they ask that you do not have other family members with you at your appointment.

He adds there are many restrictions placed upon them by The College of Dental Surgeons, and their environment and practices will be drastically different.
